Just ran my first full audit and found 14 critical issues I had no idea about. Missing canonical tags on 8 pages and a robots.txt that was blocking half the site. Fixed both in an afternoon and already seeing crawl improvements in Search Console.

The audit flagged duplicate title tags across my product pages — turns out my Shopify theme was generating them automatically. Had to override the template. Dropped from 23 duplicates to 2 within a day.

What score are people generally aiming for? I'm at 74 and not sure if that's good or needs urgent work.

Anything above 80 is solid. Focus on the critical issues first — those are the ones actually blocking rankings. Warnings can wait.

I went from 61 to 89 in three weeks just by fixing what the audit flagged in priority order. The key was not trying to fix everything at once — just working through the critical list top to bottom.
